I have been watching the Oscars program (with popcorn, appetizers, and champagne, I might add) on television for many years. Recently, I became aware of many individuals in New York that also love to see the Oscars. Since 1990 (making this our 29th Anniversary), I started to have annual black-tie Oscar dinner parties in my apartment with a small group. In time, the group had grown to a very large crowd. Because the demand to attend my dinner parties exceeded my apartment space capacity, I had to move the annual party from my apartment to other larger locations. As of now, I'm proud to say that I have a large guest list that looks forward to participate and enjoy this occasion. The annual Oscar Academy Award Viewing and dinner, a black-tie event which I have founded, is perfect for guests who are unable to attend the Awards/dinner ceremony in the West Coast of Hollywood, California, but would like to be able to enjoy the glamor and splendor within my facilities in the East Coast of Brooklyn, NY. I will be hosting this year's Academy Award Viewing/Dinner. Once again, we are rapidly approaching the Viewing of the Oscar Academy Awards celebration! Hollywood will be celebrating the 91st anniversary of the Academy Awards, scheduled to air on WABC Sunday, February 24th, 2019 at 8pm. This year, the party will be held at LILA CAFE, 911 DeKalb Avenue, (Between Throop Ave & Marcus Garvey Blvd) Brooklyn, NY 11221. Chef; Shayna Diego This is a black-tie dinner event. As you arrive on February 24th, you will be greeted with champagne. Raffle tickets will be given to you for events throughout the evening. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 6pm with appetizers and various movie snacks to follow. At 7:30pm, we will begin to serve dinner. Vegetarian meals will also be served. For your visual and audio entertainment, several high definition screens with simulcast to Channel 7 WABC will be on location. Raffle prizes will be awarded throughout the evening, So, pull out your tuxedoes and evening dresses, and join us in our 29th anniversary of Hollywood In Brooklyn black-tie dinner party!
